Masa Depan Sertifikasi Expert

Setelah Sekian lama berkutat di project, sekarang adalah saatnya bagi saya untuk memulai sesuatu yang baru, attitude baru, skill baru, peradaban baru. :)

and sekarang saatnya untuk wrap it up  dan memulai perjalanan CCDE saya, people said to get the big picture, well.. that's not the case for me...yyyeahh maybe a little.


Reason to start CCDE :

1. Saya tidak berkutat di day to day designing network. so don't judge me by this...
    setelah melalui berbagai riset saya menemukan belajar CCDE sangat menarik, menarik karena saya bisa      belajar melihat network dari point of view yang berbeda, and i believe it will not hurt to learn something          new.

2. it's a prequisites to start CCaR
    hey.. why not, saya memulai perjalanan CCIE saya dari bermimpi dan saya tidak akan berhenti bermimpi to get the most when i'm still alive, ketika saya hidup, saya tidak akan menyesali tidak mengejar yang saya kerjaan sampai ke puncak.

3. People's say it hard
    i'm always be a challenger, saya akan selalu menjadi penantang, dan saya menantang diri saya sendiri dalam process ini, untuk berjuang lagi, berkarya

4. Enjoy the journey
    saya menikmati perjalanan saya ketika mengambil ujian dan belajar CCIE dan saya berharap hal yang sama dalam proses belajar CCDE ini. perjalanan ini sudah saya mulai beberapa waktu dan saya menikmati sekali ilmu yang terserap dari process ini.

5. It won't earn my more money
   salary adalah our share dari apa yang kita sumbangsihkan ke perusahaan, it's not fair to hope ketika saya mendapatkan CCIE (i hope :D ) to earn more. this is more like  my personal thing. ini adalah tantangan personal saya (and i'm keeping that way).

6. Cisco not the only vendor out there's 
   Dari riset saya. Russ White, the one who develop CCDE not design this cert to be vendor spesific. dan personally, menurut saya konsultan sejati adalah yang bisa memberikan konsultasi end-to-end. dan saya berencana seperti itu dalam skill set saya. there's more after this..just wait :

oh.. and one more thing.

i like study, i always did, and no matter what happened with one vendor certification. how much oproar that coming, and people's that using this to gain personal benefit (which is i really despise...).

just open your book, hit your console.gain knowledge... remember no vendor that can define who i am.. who you are..

First Mission Accomplished

Terima kasih kepada keluarga, atas motivasi dan kepercayaan mereka gue bisa menyelesaikan salah satu target gue dalam hidup.

pertama gue ingin berterima kasih kepada my lovely wife
sejak pertama pacaran sampai sekarang tiap sabtu minggu musti sabar melihat suaminya belajar, thanks honey. :D

tak terasa sudah 3 tahun saya mencoba menyelesaikan ujian sertifikasi ini, bermula dari sebuah blog, tulisan  om @himawan Nugroho , yang begitu menginspirasi gue bahwa job market di negeri sendiri harus  dikuasai orang sendiri.

dari situ gue memulai, pertama tidak tau harus memulai dari mana, tapi dari keinginan, pasti ada jalan.

pembelajaran dimulai dari volume 1 INE, dilanjutkan dengan vol 2 dan 3

kemudian dari kepercayaan oleh kantor, diberikan kesempatan ujian pada bulan november 2011 di HK
dan hasilnya..FAILED.  kepercayaan diri gue hancur.

tapi tidak lama, sekitar seminggu kemudian gue mulai belajar lagi memulai lagi, mengulang kembali semua materi dari awal, ditambah join beberapa study group

and its fall to this exam. :D

pada ujian kali ini aga lebih "menderita" karena menggunakan own expenses, pesawat yang murah sehingga harus bermalam di changi airport. sempet meriang juga sehari sebelum ujian, karena ga bisa tidur di kursi panjang airport :p. just like backpacker hehehe (thanks to romi yulianto atas ngobrolnya ampe pagi :p). baca-baca materi sambil pijet di kursi tunggu. hehehehe
